Today’s media and society have produced young adults in San Francisco who are passive when dealing with life problems, causing them to complain rather than take action.

Purpose Statement

The purpose of this study was to develop and create methods for young adults to become proactive and productive in their community and in their lives when encountering problems.

Problem Statement:

Many young adults in San Francisco tend to have a lot to complain about, however, they rarely take action in changing it.

Purpose Statement:

The purpose of this study was to provide knowledge to young adults in San Francisco that if they want something to change, they should take the steps necessary in changing that thing.

Problem Statement:

A number of young women in San Francisco are not knowledgable of the fact that they are at a higher risk for transmitting HIV/AIDS as well as transmitting to from mother to child.

Purpose Statement

The purpose of this study was to educate young women on their vulnerability to HIV/AIDs and promote safe sex through the use of condoms.
